Damn! I haven't thought about him for a while..... His Fear and Loathing books/articles were about as entertaining as you can get.

Damn! I haven't thought about him for a while..... His Fear and Loathing books/articles were about as entertaining as you can get.

Sorry he felt so bad he offed himself.

He was a true American classic, that's for sure.  Known by reputation not for his works alone.  And his works were thinly disguised reality, anyway.

I've never read anything by him. Not that I can remember anyway, maybe I did read something by him in Rolling Stone some time, though.

But, I did see Gilliam's Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. Amazing movie.

My stepdaughter recently bought the book.

I just heard about this last night. My first thought was about revenge from the "Hell's Angels" for Hunter not buying that keg of beer he promised. Just joking.  Cool
