Well, we're a patient kind of folk here at KUR. Not to mention thoughtful, courteous, generous, intrepid, cordial, and bulemic.
(Okay, the last one I made up, but only because our sweetness makes one want to hurl...)
SOFA

immature, petulant, mean, vindictive, bad news...did i forget anything....oh, yea: complete dickhead Why, you've described Barry perfectly! Listen: I'm tired of this bullshit. What Barry did WAS censorship. I did nothing wrong and I was banned for expressing my constitutional right to free speech. And if you don't know by know the truth in what I'm telling you, than surely I have failed somehow, and Frank Zappa will think I'm a jerk, just like YOU, If you let this nazi censor make a monkey out of you! I said, Frank Zappa will think YOU'RE a jerk, and it will be true! "Smell that? That's the US Constitution being burned. It's the death of free speech!" FUCK THE FCC FUCK THE KUG FUCK CENSORSHIP!

BBSNX, how did you vote. yes, no, or he's such a sweet boy, let's give him another chance ?
It would seem you have an interest in the concept of censorship. How do you see the difference between censorship and redaction ? The editing process of redaction can i suspect be misinterpreted as censorship, but is generally the custom when those with editing responsibilty apply themselves to any work in progress.
Where creators of output have an unenvisaged editing process applied, then they can i guess, start to think of this as censorship.
For example, the kur forums are advertised as 'speak your mind', so any editing of output, by other than the writer, would probably rightly be thought of as censorship.
The hot poop section is advertised as 'lumpy linkage', and it would not be beyond expectations for kur to guard more editorial responsibility for the contents.
In your text you write 'I did nothing wrong and I was banned for expressing my constitutional right to free speech.' Which i suspect is more accurately written as 'I did nothing wrong and I was banned for expressing myself within my constitutional right to free speech.'
I, for one, wouldn't see this as a censorship issue for kur to edit your text to add words and increase accuracy, or reduce words and not publish bullshit. This is generally called editorial policy.
It is possibly poetic justice that you can use the kur forums to complain about kur editorial policy, it certainly indicates there is not overriding kur censorship. Or maybe it's just ironic that you find a home for your views, in the very place you imagine to practice censorship.
Thankyou for confusing me. I always like something new to think about.

BBSNX, how did you vote. yes, no, or he's such a sweet boy, let's give him another chance ?
I think BBSNX voted "No", like the other 14 *new* members this forum just got yesterday, all in one day (hey it's getting crowded here, is there enough spaghetti for all?). It's good everyone of them agreed on the "No" vote, that way they don't have to discuss between them on their way home from the library. Bertanya sez, in yet another intent to educate the beasts: "I, for one, wouldn't see this as a censorship issue for kur to edit your text, to add words and increase accuracy, or reduce words and not publish bullshit. This is generally called editorial policy." I couldn't agree more; unfortunately, people with a paving stone instead of a brain can't understand that. I, for one too, DON'T WANT to read anything coming from a person that wants to impose his/her stuff by meaning of threats, mean actions, insults, mailbox flooding, and breaking balls/ovaries of everyone else. There are other weblogs, f.i. http://www.georgewbush.com/blog/, run by actual Americans (UNLIKE Barry, who is NOT American) where, i'm sure, these people will be able to express anything they want. I hope they'll make a try there, and find a way to make a career very soon. And FAR from KUR, please...

Like the gwb website, they must have a veritable team applying the sense for ship shape designs, evident in the site. One minor thing, on the agenda page, there is the quote 'We will not deny, we will not ignore, we will not pass along our problems to other Congresses, other presidents, and other generations.'. Fine and dandy, however, the economist recently avowed quite the opposite point of view. Okay, so ya gotta pay to read the article but it is accurately summarised by the leader. From no debt to a few trillion in just more than the 10 year forecast demanded by law. I guess it didn't pass the editorial policy of the site to include statements to the effect of risking fiscal trouble for future generations, unless the truth is just subtle to apprehend, 'We will not deny ... problems to other Congresses, other presidents, and other generations.' Or maybe the economist just doesn't know diddly about economics.

Some scientists claim that hydrogen, because it is so plentiful, is the basic building block of the universe. I dispute that. I say there is more stupidity than hydrogen, and that is the basic building block of the universe. -FZ-
