1  Frank Zappa / Strictly Critique / Re:ZPZ double-page in french newspaper Liberation today! (02/06/2006) on: June 04, 2006, 12:38:43 AM
well what I understood reading the article was that Ahmet and Dweezil realized they didn't have the same vision about what the purpose of this tour was. It seems very important to Dweezil that this tour should really be about reviving Frank's music, like giving a new impulse, both for new and "old" generations, as well as celebrating Zappa's musical history, all of that with the same level of quality and precision that Frank would have imposed on any of his musical endeavours. so it should not be seen only as a "tribute". that's what I understood. i found very interesting the part about auditionning the members of the band too.
