Unfortunately, not entirely accurate. For instance, Henry Vestine didn’t leave because of drug use (most of the early Mothers were using drugs – it was Frank who was the minority), rather he didn’t agree with the overall direction the band was taking: he wanted to play the blues. As usual, the history of the original Mothers is being projected through the prism of Frank Zappa. While that can be said of the subsequent Mothers bands, the original Mothers are far too distinctive a group to be described solely through Zappa.

yeah, seems funny that with so much research and effort that the very first box has a mistake. “Francis!?”
Oh well, its pretty awesome and seeing as I use a multi-monitor setup it’s nice to have one kick ass image stretch across both displays.
