I am the producer of Joe's Garage and I can promise there will be no alteration of the language and that my band is up to it.
As for the Ike Willits staging - that was done without the permission of the Zappa Family Trust and was done with students. I can promise you that the lady Z has been a crucial supporter of the show and our advisor on all things Zappa. Pic's are up on our myspace and Facebok sites and more will be coming.
I for one have trouble imagining Joe's intercourse with Sy being performed live on stage in front of an american audience. And will they introduce beeps at all the places were words like eg. "golden shower", "fuck me, you ugly son of a bitch" are supposed to be heard? (Or maybe, at least for the latter example, they simply resort to the german lyrics which are safe anyway because nobody speaks decent german over there...)
I guess it is safe to say that you know nothing about America (or independent theater, for that matter).

Of course, this can be accomplished in the form of an interpretative dance number (think of giant foam puppets).

It's been done at the University of Michigan.
Check out the DVD
Performed and filmed 1999/04/16, Cosmosis Productions performed Frank Zappa's "Joe's Garage" as a live stage adaptation. The show featured a 7-piece band (featuring Ike Willis as a special guest), 6 modern dancers, a full cast of 10, a larger-than-life Scrutinizer, projections featuring character and digital animation, and quadraphonic sound design.

She won't let you fly but she might let you sing. But I digress.

Now as for Selma. Maybe I'm a lesbian too but I want her in the movie. Got that AZ?

http://www.contactmusic.com/news.nsf/article/blair%20inundated%20with%20gay%20love%20offers_1074578

Hollywood actress SELMA BLAIR is regularly propositioned by lesbians because of her three on-screen girl-on-girl love scenes.
The 36-year-old, who split from her husband Ahmet Zappa in 2006, gained a massive gay following after locking lips with Sarah Michelle Gellar in 1999's Cruel Intentions.
She subsequently went on to film lesbian kissing scenes for last year's (07) Feast of Love and for upcoming movie Driving Lessons.
And Blair is convinced that many women often confuse her for a real life lesbian, according to the New York Daily News.
She says, "I have done three girl-on-girl kisses on-screen. And, yet, I've never done any (lesbian experimentation) in my real life.
"When lesbian friends tell me they're in love with me after our friendship has been cemented, it always shocks me."

There's more where this came from...
Wasn’t she married to Ahmet Zappa?
The AHMET Wiki says you are correct Jamez. She IS the former Mrs. Ahmet. I had no idea.
